The Township of Brownstown is seeking qualified applicants for the creation of an eligibility list for the position of Full time Firefighter/Medic. Applicants must be 18 years or older, High School Graduate or equivalent, possess a valid Michigan Driver's License with excellent driving record. Must present at time of application the following pieces of documentation: State of Michigan Firefighter 1 and 2 certification with Haz Mat Operations level, valid State of Michigan Paramedic license. Prior to oral interview, current certificate of passing from Conference of Western Wayne Firefighter testing program (physical agility & written). Must pass Brownstown written exam, oral interview, drug screening, background investigation, psychological exam and post offer physical Salary start: $14.66/hour, with full benefits, which includes the MERS retirement program.
