Willingness Questionaire

I found this as part of an application packet for a fire dept. in Hobbes, NM. I didn't alter it in any way. I think all prospective FFs should take this questionaire.

FIREFIGHTER-PARAMEDIC QUESTIONAIRE

1- Are you willing to direct traffic in 110 degree heat?
2- Are you willing to deal with and move dead bodies and observe autopsies?
3- Are you willing to treat highly infectious patients and/or clean vomit or blood off a patient?
4- Are you willing to work legal holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July)?
5- Are you willing to work rotating shifts?
6- Are you willing to be away from family or loved ones for days at a time?
7- Are you willing to stand/work outside in any weather, including rain, wind, lightning, snow, high and low temperatures?
8- Are you willing to handle situations that involve the possibility of injury to yourself?
9- Are you willing to subject yourself to intense public scrutiny and criticism?
10- Are you willing to be told EXACTLY what to do?
11- Are you willing to maintain your composure while being insulted or sworn at?
12- Are you willing to notify a citizen that a member of their immediate family has just been killed?
13- Are you willing to work in confined spaces for long periods of time?
14- Are you willing to work in high places for long periods of time?
15- Are you willing to risk your own life to save another human life if necessary?
16- Are you willing to deal with suicide victims and their families?
17-Are you willing to search a dark building for signs of danger?
18- Are you willing to risk your life for the safety of a co-worker?
19- Are you willing to enforce city codes you do not agree with?
20- Are you willing to rappel off of a 5 story building?
21- Are you willing to enter a burning structure?
22- Are you willing to clean kitchens, scrub toilets, and buff floors?
